British, Australian & Irish Podcast Awards
Celebrating the best in podcasting
The British, Australian and Irish Podcast Awards were created to celebrate the best of podcasting and the people making it. The British Podcast Awards launched in 2017, bringing together independent creators, established publishers and broadcasters with an industry-wide judging panel and a big annual celebration of the medium. The format later expanded internationally, with the Australian Podcast Awards joining in 2019 and the Irish Podcast Awards launching in 2022.
Across the three countries, the awards helped champion podcasts of every size, from new independent shows to some of the biggest names in audio, with categories designed to recognise great ideas, storytelling, production and creativity rather than simply audience size.
The business was acquired by Haymarket Media Group in 2022.
