Folder Media

Folder Media is a radio and audio company that brings together content, technology and the infrastructure that gets audio to listeners. It has been closely involved with DAB Digital Radio since its early days, helping launch and develop radio stations, apply for licences and build and manage digital radio multiplexes. Today, Folder manages 16 DAB multiplexes, supporting around 140 radio stations across 95 transmitters.

Alongside the broadcast side of the business, Folder works with radio, podcast and audio companies on strategy, content and technology. Its projects have ranged from developing radio stations and producing podcasts to building websites, apps and specialist platforms for the audio industry. Over the years it has worked with organisations including the BBC, ITV, Bauer Media and Radioplayer, combining a deep understanding of how the radio industry works with a willingness to build and try new things.

I co-founded the business with Gregory Watson in 2006.
